Why one sensor is never enough

Layer 1 – Detect Early (Underground & Wide-Area Sensing)
Buried fiber-optic sensing (Magus FOPS) and seismic ground sensors (Magus GeoPS) pick up footsteps, digging, or vehicle movement before an intruder ever reaches the fence line. Magus RADAR extends that awareness across open, wide-area terrain up to 700 meters out.
LAYER 2 – CONFIRM AT THE PERIMETER
Fence-mounted sensors (Magus FPS PRO) detect cutting, climbing, or shaking on the fence itself and pinpoint the exact location of the attempt. Microwave barriers (Magus MB) create invisible detection corridors across gates, ramps, and open access points where a physical fence isn’t practical.
LAYER 3 – VERIFY BEFORE YOU RESPOND
Magus LiDAR combines laser precision with dual-camera and thermal verification to confirm whether an alert is a genuine intruder or a false trigger, distinguishing people from wildlife, vehicles, or blowing debris, in fog, rain, or total darkness.
LAYER 4 – COMMAND AND COORDINATE
Every layer reports into Magus CC, a single command-and-control platform that overlays all alerts on a live GIS map with instant geo-location and video verification, so operators see one clear picture instead of five disconnected systems, and can dispatch a response in seconds instead of minutes.
