We therefore strive to process your personal data in accordance with the principles defined in the data protection legislation applicable in Romania, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and the repeal of the Directive 95/46 / EC ("GDPR").

An identifiable person is one who can be identified in/directly, in particular by reference to an unique identification number or to one or more specific physical, psychological, mental, of economic, cultural or social identity factors.

This privacy and data protection policy concerns our clients, business partners, other people who contact us, as well as their representatives, potential employees, collaborators, etc. and applies to both the data collected through our site www.miratechnologies.at and any other personal data collected by e-mail or other off-line contacts.

2. Purposes, bases of processing, and the categories of the personal data processed

In the context of interacting with MIRA TECHNOLOGIES GMBH, we can subject you - as a physical person - to the data processing activities we perform.

  1. For the purpose of concluding and executing contracts – according to art. 6 par. 1 let. b) of the GDPR, personal data may be processed for the purpose of concluding or executing the contract. In order to be able to offer you our products/services, we need to process your personal data.

  2. For the purpose of fulfilling legal obligations – according to art. 6 par. 1 let. c) of the GDPR, personal data may be processed for the purpose of fulfilling legal obligations. We request a series of personal data, in order to fulfill our obligations towards the tax authority regarding invoicing and reporting towards the tax authorities.

  3. For marketing purposes – according to art. 6 par. 1 let. a) of the GDPR, personal data may be processed if the subject has given his / her consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes. Thus, in certain circumstances, your personal data will be used to: (i) send you marketing messages, information or commercial messages (offers, promotions, advertising and marketing messages.

We will only use the information you provide to us on the relevant sections of the website in order to process the Contact form. By delivering any of your personal data through MIRA TECHNOLOGIES GMBH, you agree that such data will be processed in accordance with this Policy.

Please note that in order to process your Contact form we may on occasion be required to share your information with our associated firms and any third parties who provide services on our behalf. Also, in this case, we rely on the legitimate interest in providing our services in our field of activity and in managing the relationship with our customers as the basis of the personal data processing.

    In all cases, data is provided either directly by you, or by the customer / partner. The data categories processed in the context of our relationship with you are: the name, company name, e-mail address, and other personal data, if needed, provided to MIRA TECHNOLOGIES GMBH, usually , by you, as required for the purposes above.

2.3 If you are a guest of our headquarters

We use your personal data to ensure the security of our premises, property, staff and other visitors to MIRA TECHNOLOGIES GMBH. In this case, our data processing is based on the legitimate interest of MIRA TECHNOLOGIES GMBH, namely the protection of these premises, assets and staff.

The categories of data processed in this context are: your name, as well as other personal data that you could provide us directly. Also, in this context, we mention that MIRA TECHNOLOGIES GMBH records through internal video surveillance systems (CCTV) images from the common spaces and areas of MIRA TECHNOLOGIES GMBH.

  • If disclosure is necessary to resolve disputes, to find or exercise a right in court

We assure you that we do not distribute or sell your personal data to any other entity/agency.

4. How long do we store the personal data?

  • We limit the period of time that your personal data at one year.

    MIRA TECHNOLOGIES GMBH can store processed data for different periods of time, as deemed reasonable for the purposes indicated above. We only retain your data for the period of time necessary to achieve the purpose for which we hold the data, to meet your needs or to fulfill our statutory obligations.

    To know how long your data can be stored, we use the following criteria:

    1. When you purchase products and services, we retain your personal data during our contractual relationship and in some cases for a longer term when there is a legal obligation for MIRA TECHNOLOGIES GMBH to proceed so;

    2. If you have given your consent to marketing communications, we retain your personal data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it or after a period of inactivity. In this regard, we mention that the data stored in our databases for the purpose of direct marketing communications are deleted from the records of these databases one year after the last interaction with you;

    3. In case you contact us for a question, we keep your personal data for as long as your questions are processed, but no more than one year after the last mail sent;

  • We periodically review the need to keep your personal data. We analyze the data collected and processed to filter, sort and maintain processing only for the data for which the purpose of the processing is actual.

  • We delete your personal information:

    immediately, upon your request, except for the data whose processing / delivery is required by a legal provision, in which case the duration of their storage will be the one stipulated in the applicable law;

    it is possible for us to keep personal data in case of finding, exercising or defending a right in court.

5. How do we ensure the security of the personal data?

  • We want to keep your personal data safe by implementing appropriate technical measures as well as appropriate organizational measures.

  • Under the applicable law, we have defined and used internal procedures to prevent unauthorized access and inappropriate use of personal data.

  • We use appropriate systems and procedures to protect and secure the personal data, specifically with a view to preventing unauthorized / unlawful processing, accidental or unlawful loss, accidental or unlawful destruction.

  • We have implemented measures to prevent and / or uncover security breaches, document security incidents, data affected by such incidents, to fix the security incidents and recover the personal data.

  • We have also implemented measures and procedures to comply with our obligations under the applicable law in the event of a security incident, including our obligations to notify the competent supervisory authority and your notification and information, as appropriate.

6. Do we transfer personal data outside the EU or the EEA?

We do not transfer your personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area or to international organizations.

7. How ca you control your personal data? What are your rights?

As individuals, GDPR offers you a number of rights, including:

  • the right to access - allows you to obtain confirmation that your personal data are processed by us and, if so, the relevant details of these processing activities.

  • the right to rectification - allows you to rectify your personal data if they are incorrect;

  • the right to delete - allows you to obtain the deletion of your personal data in certain cases (for example, if the data are no longer needed in connection with the purposes for which they were collected);

  • the right to restrict the processing - allows you to restrict the processing of your personal data in certain cases (for example, when you dispute the accuracy of your personal data for a period of time allowing us to verify such accuracy);

  • the right to object - allows you to oppose to further processing of your personal data under the conditions and limits set by law;

  • the right to data portability - allows you to receive the personal data about you, that you have provided to us, in a structured format, commonly used, which can be read by common computers, or to send this data to another data operator.

We undertake to always handle your requests with the utmost care and to answer any questions you may have as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days after receipt of valid requests.

Do not provide your personal data to MIRA TECHNOLOGIES GMBH through other channels of communication, except those mentioned in this policy (e-mail, telephone, fax, headquarters' address), regardless of the person or company that would request them on our behalf, including employees or former employees of MIRA TECHNOLOGIES GMBH that you have previously known. The personal data transmitted through any other communication channels, except those mentioned in the policy, to any third party, for any purpose, are not the responsibility of MIRA TECHNOLOGIES GMBH, and the latter can not provide their security. SC MIRA TECHNOLOGIES GMBH, an Austrian legal entity, based in Austria, registered with no. ATU 63550605, controls the processing of the personal data, as the data operator. This new privacy policy is in effect as of May 2018. It may undergo further changes. Any updates come into force on the date of their publication on the MIRA TECHNOLOGIES GMBH’s web site. By making any further changes and updates to this policy, we undertake not to infringe in any way whatsoever your rights mentioned in this version. If such changes could have a major direct or indirect impact on your rights in relation to your personal data, we pledge to explicitly inform you, and to ask for your consent, if necessary, in accordance with the applicable legal provisions.

In any case, all subsequent changes will be presented on this page, and if they are significant, we will highlight them. Also, all versions of this privacy policy are kept in MIRA TECHNOLOGIES GMBH's archive for consultation.
